State parliament member Joschka Knuth visits Systema Natura and Symaplant

On 11 August 2020 we had the pleasure of welcoming Mr Joschka Knuth, member of the Landtag of Bündnis 90/Die Grünen, to our site.

Together we spoke about the importance of supply chains and the associated ethical responsibility towards suppliers and growers in the field of herbal medicinal products over the last 10 years.

We also discussed the advantages and possible synergies of establishing phytopharmaceutical expertise for the state of Schleswig-Holstein.

Systema Natura supports the establishment of transparent supply chains and consistent traceability from the seed of a plant to the certified herbal active ingredient.

Symaplant is able to provide correspondingly certified active ingredients of the highest quality from its own cultivation cooperative. Great importance is attached to aspects such as sustainability, environmental protection and cooperation at eye level at all stages of the supply chain.

In addition to pharmaceutically certified plant-based active ingredients, organic active ingredients have also been available in the portfolio since 2020 – a step that was achieved despite corona.

The Member of Parliament was accordingly pleased with the development of the companies since 2016 and the planned spatial expansion steps in 2020/2021.
